Oddwork Recab

A signed contract in 39 days

Sometimes it just clicks. That is exactly what happened when we met Recab for the first time in March 2024 and realised we were strikingly aligned on what it takes to be a skilled salesperson. From there, things moved at record speed.

Building successful sales teams

In early March 2024 we got in touch with Recab, a leader in industrial innovation and technical solutions headquartered in Stockholm. Recab is a well-established company offering high-quality technical solutions for demanding embedded systems to the defence, transport and communications industries. With big growth ambitions, Recab needed to strengthen its sales organisation with a new Key Account Manager.

After a conversation about how successful teams are built and what it takes to be a skilled salesperson, one thing quickly became clear: we agreed on a lot. A 39-day recruitment process later, Recab’s new Key Account Manager had signed the employment contract.

“We agreed on what was needed to build a successful sales structure, which made it easier for me to understand the challenges ahead of the company and solve them effectively.”

A salesperson who stands out in a sea of engineers

Our assignment was to find a new team member who could stand out with their sales expertise among Recab’s many engineers. In the search for the perfect match, our copywriters created a creative and informative job ad and a digital social media campaign to drive traffic to it.

We also created templates and copy for organic LinkedIn posts that Recab could share in its own channels to maximise the reach of the role. Then our Talent Managers took over, and the recruitment process was in full swing with screening, interviews, ongoing check-ins and presentation of candidates.

Results & impact

39 days from job ad to signed contract

Time flies when you’re having fun! 39 days after we published the job ad, Recab’s new Key Account Manager had signed the contract.

165+ candidates applied

Of the roughly 165 candidates who applied, four were selected and presented to the client. All four stayed in the process until the end, which resulted in an offer and a signed contract for the perfect match.

Presence on Meta, LinkedIn and Oddwork’s website

The job ad was published on LinkedIn Job Slots and Oddwork’s jobs page. We also created organic LinkedIn posts and a digital campaign on Meta and LinkedIn to drive traffic to the ad. Applications poured in from every channel.

“I appreciated that the Oddwork team understood what we were looking for early in the process, so the candidate profiles were right from the start. It was efficient and easy to work together. This is how I want to work with a recruitment agency.”
