Full-stack developer at the center of events

Forget about carpeting and blue logos – Studio Rosell is anything but a classic consulting company. With a group consisting of Studio Rosell, the metal band Dead by April, the premium content platform Fan Vault, and Fredman Digital, they mix business meetings and programming with track days and concerts. In September 2022, Studio Rosell embarked on a growth journey in the Swedish market, and our team at Oddwork was excited to join them!

When a candidate becomes a recruiting manager

Let’s rewind the tape. It was actually before Marcus Rosell started his company that our paths crossed for the first time. Marcus was looking for his first job in the industry, and Oddwork had the pleasure of recruiting him for his then-position.

Our process

InMails, Search and all that jazz 

Specific job requirements and a hard-to-reach target group. Recruiting developers can be a challenge. However, this is not unfamiliar territory for our Talent Managers, who immediately started their search (headhunting) for relevant candidates who could match Studio Rosell’s demands. 

In our process, we developed a job ad and a targeted recruitment campaign on social media to capture the interest of the target group of tech lovers. At the same time, we searched in our own networks and through Search on LinkedIn. 

And suddenly, it happened! We found our tech talent with a profile and personality matching Studio Rosell perfectly – let us introduce Emanuel Slatteby.

Tell us about the process with Oddwork. What was your first impression of us as a recruitment agency? 

I hadn’t been in contact with Oddwork before, but I received a personal response from Mikaela Ehk, who contacted me via LinkedIn. After I checked out the job ad she linked, she quickly followed up, which I appreciated. She was also well-informed about me and my CV, which made me feel that she contacted me because of my profile instead of just sending a general standard message. 

What did you appreciate most about our recruitment process?

I appreciated that you were familiar with both the company and Marcus and really believed in the mission. It made me feel confident that it was a good employer. There was also clear follow-up throughout the process, and I felt comfortable reaching out to Oddwork with questions about the role.
