Employer Branding

Wint: A culture in constant development

With its unique service, Wint revolutionised how companies handle financial administration. To keep growing, Wint started an employer branding partnership with Oddwork.

The assignment

A sustainable company culture during rapid growth

Since 2011, the tech company Wint has made it easier to run a business. Wint has digitalised everyday administration, and whether it is invoicing, expenses, VAT payments or monthly closing, the system handles the process automatically.

Today’s talent market is constantly changing. Retaining employees while attracting the right talent requires working actively with your employer brand, and that is what Josefine and Wint decided to do.

What we did

Workshop: Who is Wint?

Josefine Saraste is Head of HR at Wint and has worked there since 2014. During those years the company has grown quickly, which has meant many new hires. In one particularly busy quarter, Wint made 32 new recruitments.

Wint started working with Oddwork in connection with its annual conference in Smögen in 2017. The work continued in the autumn with three workshops that Oddwork ran with a reference group selected by Josefine. Each session focused on a different area of Wint’s employer brand, and the final workshop was about implementation in the business.

“It has been incredibly rewarding, and we have had an extremely good introduction to this kind of work. If you see employer branding as a one-off effort you look at once a year, you have got it wrong. The work needs to be continuous, and through Oddwork we have been given the tools to work with it long term. I am very grateful for the format and structure we have developed.”

Tools for continuous follow-up

Along the way, Josefine noticed a change among the employees: many in the reference group started communicating Wint’s brand on their own social media accounts. Before, employees mostly shared job ads, but now more of them take the time to write about why they work at Wint and what makes the company special.

“Many people claim that company culture is in the walls. I don’t believe that. Company culture is something you actively create together, for example by working with your employer brand,” says Josefine Saraste.
