Recruitment with a focus on employer branding
03 SEPTEMBER 2024
A recruiter’s role is to find the right person with the right skills for the right assignment. At Oddwork, it also means matching personality with company culture to create long-term hires and strong employer brands. As the Nordics’ only combined employer branding and recruitment agency, we help you make accurate hires while strengthening your employer brand and your attractiveness in the talent market.
Experts in matching skills with employer brand
The world becomes a better place if everyone gets to do what they truly love. That was the vision when Oddwork was founded as a recruitment company in 2012. Today we are a leading full-service agency for recruitment and employer branding in the Nordics. With awards such as Recruitment Company of the Year and partnerships with both global and local clients, we have many years of experience helping clients attract, recruit and retain the right people.

Our recruiters work daily with recruitment, consulting and recruit-to-hire of specialists, mainly within finance, sales, marketing, IT and tech, and over the years we have recruited across almost every industry. Whatever the client and assignment, one thing is constant in all our processes: the candidate experience and the employer brand are always in focus.
How we make recruitment more effective with employer branding
Working as a recruiter at Oddwork is not just about filling a vacancy. It is about creating meaningful relationships and bringing new energy and skills into unique company cultures. Protecting our clients’ employer brands and the candidate experience is at the heart of every partnership, because a strong employer brand retains and attracts talent, and a great recruitment experience strengthens the brand even further.
As your strategic partner, we guide you towards your vision and goals for each hire, always with an attentive approach, flexibility and a genuine understanding of both your needs and the candidate’s. Together we attract the right skills, build a talent pipeline and strengthen your reputation as an employer.
Three tips for integrating employer branding into recruitment
1. Set the right expectations. Be honest and transparent with candidates about your culture, your challenges and what they can expect as employees. This builds trust and increases your chances of attracting candidates who truly fit and can help you reach your strategic goals.
2. Give feedback to everyone. Make sure all candidates get feedback, whether or not they get the job. Even those who are not hired can become important ambassadors if they feel respected and valued during the process.
3. Involve current employees. Let candidates meet and talk to current employees to get a transparent view of the culture and work environment. It gives colleagues a chance to get to know their future teammate and makes the candidate feel welcome.
