The employer branding market has grown steadily in recent years. Competition in the candidate market is getting tougher, and more and more companies choose to actively work with their employer brand to attract, recruit and retain the right people. With global and national clients such as AstraZeneca, Volvo, If, Axfood and Blocket, Oddwork continues to gain ground and is now expanding its board to handle the growth.

“We aim to be the leading employer branding company in the Nordics by 2025. With Malin Persson, we bring one of the country’s most experienced board professionals on the journey, and with Therése Treutiger one of the Nordics’ foremost tech and innovation directors. We could not be prouder or more excited about the future,” says Poyan Karimi, CEO of Oddwork.

Many years of operational and strategic expertise

Malin and Therése bring many years of operational and strategic expertise to the current board.

Therése Treutiger has a solid background in the tech and telecom industries. Since 2015, she has been responsible for Microsoft Sweden’s partner, startup and innovation business and is a member of the Swedish management team.

“I am passionate about leadership and about creating a culture and energy where individual abilities are put to use and where digitalisation creates new opportunities for companies and organisations to both attract and develop talent. All of this comes together in being part of Oddwork’s journey. Oddwork is a fantastically exciting company with a bright future, combining a company’s positioning in the quest to attract and retain talent with an innovative use of the opportunities of digitalisation”, says Therése Treutiger.

Malin Persson has a background in research and development-intensive companies such as Volvo Technology and SKF. With deep expertise in strategy and organisation, she is today considered one of Sweden’s most sought-after board professionals, with long board experience from both listed companies and family-owned organisations.

“Employer branding has been on my agenda for decades and is becoming increasingly important in our global world. Finding, developing and retaining the right people is a matter of survival for every organisation. Oddwork’s structured models, combined with drive and entrepreneurship, enable more companies to take important steps in recruiting the talent of the future”, says Malin Persson.

In addition to Malin and Therése and the chairman of the board Mats Axell, Oddwork’s board consists of the company’s founders Charles Sinclair, Niklas Kekonius and Poyan Karimi.
